"Free at last, free at last. Thank you God almighty, we are free at last."
"Let us pray for our 47th president. Heavenly Father, we're so grateful that you gave our 45th and now our 47th president a millimeter miracle. We are grateful that you are the one that have called him for such a time as this. That America would begin to dream again.
"We pray that we would fulfill the true meaning of our creed, that we hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal. We pray that you use our president, that we will live in a nation where we will not be judged by the color of our skin but by the content of our character.
"Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we are so grateful today that you will use our 47th president, so we will sing with new meaning, 'My country, 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing; Land where my fathers died. Land of the pilgrims' pride. From every mountainside, let freedom ring.' And because America is called to be a great nation, we believe that you will make this come true.
"From the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire, let freedom ring. From the mighty mountains of New York, let freedom ring. From the heightening Alleghenies of Pennsylvania, let freedom ring. From the snowcap Rockies of Colorado, let freedom ring. From the curvaceous hilltops of California, but God, we're asking you not only that; let freedom ring from Stone Mountain, Georgia. Let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain, Tennessee. Let freedom ring from every hill and every molehill in Mississippi, from every state, every city, every village and every hamlet. And when we let freedom ring, we will be able to speed up that day where all of your children, Black men and white men, Protestant and Catholic, Jew and gentile will be able to sing in the meaning of that old Negro spiritual, 'Free at last, free at last. Thank you God almighty, we are free at last.' If you believe with the Spirit of the Lord, there is liberty. Come on, put your hands together and give your great God great glory."

Why Students Are Miserable: The Coddling of the American Mind
Jan 7, 2025  -  Many colleges no longer teach critical thinking. They teach censorship. And victimhood. These ideas make students depressed and anxious.

Gen Z's Victimhood
Many young people are VERY good at advocating for themselves. But does this make them a good team player? Are they a positive asset in the workplace?  When a person is focused on how they are being treated rather than being focused on how they treat others, the whole team suffers.  Christianity's focus on service and thinking of others is a more positive and productive mindset!
This hilarious video is not all that far from the truth.  A spirit of offense [a decision to focus on being offended by the way others treat you] makes a person hard to get along with.
Each person gets to choose a spirit of gratitude or a spirit of offense.  A spirit of offense is a bait that Satan uses to sow division and destruction, so gratitude could be your better choice!  Choose wisely!

"We don’t have to pass any laws or raise any taxes. We just need the will, the courage, and grit to create a better future. Can we make it happen? That’s up to you, but I’ll bet on America, any time."

State of Minnesota HF 874 [2021]
Educational liberty is essential!  As parents, we cherish the freedom to educate our children according to the principles and philosophies that matter to us.  Currently, this freedom is being directly challenged by MN state legislators in a very serious way.

On February 8, 2021, a bill was introduced in the Minnesota House designed to eliminate educational liberty in the State of Minnesota.

HF 874 seeks to amend the Minnesota State Constitution to include the following:
"All children have a fundamental right to a quality public education that fully prepares them with the skills necessary for participation in the economy, our democracy, and society, as measured against uniform achievement standards set forth by the state. It is a paramount duty of the state to ensure quality public schools that fulfill this fundamental right."

With this amendment, public education would be made a "fundamental right" for all children in Minnesota. That might sound nice, but it means exactly what it says. If public education is legally declared to be a "fundamental right" of all children in our state according to the state constitution, then depriving your children of a public education would be to deny them one of their constitutional rights!

Therefore, if this amendment were ultimately to become enshrined in our state's constitution, it would effectively make homeschooling and private education illegal. Any parent who did not send their children to public schools would be legally depriving their children of a "fundamental right," and this would have very serious legal consequences.

NOTE: This is not the first time that this bill has been proposed. It was proposed in 2020 and defeated in committee.  Even if liberty-minded constituents are able to defeat it again this time, constant diligence will be required because it will undoubtedly be proposed yet again.
